Clean – Clean all ground chains. Clean cables with soap and water.

• Inspect – Inspect insulation to ensure it is free from nicks and cuts; repair if necessary. Also inspect clamps and treads.

• Electrically test – Complete resistance test depending on type of connectors and length of the conductors/cables.

• Test – Test the insulation (if applicable) for proper rating.
